LOL Calderon, What does Calderon have like 5 KO's.....

Southpaw yes, but c'mon Calderon is like 7 weight classes or more beneath both fighters.

Manny is going to be a tough fight for Cotto and Vice Versa.

Cotto's only chance to get a pacquiao clone would be to land Judah and that will not happen for several reasons (Fight sept 19, rival, mayweather camp) .
Judah has the stance, Speed and power in the same ballpark as Manny.

but yeah Cotto must not be gettting hit at all during training and that is not good.

This might help calderon too if they do it before his fight against mayol.

what makes you think he will not be getting hit? I am sure that he will spar with other fighters. Have you ever heard of boxer training for a fight that does not get hit in training?

This is a very good choice for cotto. For all of u ignorant and dumb readers, obviously hes not picking Calderon for power, hes picking this guy for speed. He is one o the fastest fighters out there if not maybe even the fastest, taking into consideration his weight. Very good choice for Cotto because not even mosley could catch this guy when he was out here for the De la hoya vs Mayweather fight when they had a couple rounds of fun!!

Cotto won't need to worry about size. He's already fought bigger guys who punch harder.

Calderon will help Cotto learn how to time a faster, slicker, lefty.

Pac has no defense. As long as Cotto can time Calderon and catch him, Packy is dead meat.

Good move by Cotto. Catching Calderon with a flush punch is tough, but if Cotto times him and starts to learn the southpaw style more, it will definitely help him defeat Pac Man.

Its all about getting used to the timing of a fast fighter and the fact hes a southpaw is a bonus and so it dont matter if ivan doesnt how power probably even better for cotto lol
