If he HAD defeated one or the other brother, the TV rights for the rematch would have been very profitable, and I assume he had gotten his share of it. I think the UK TV rights were his department, and just assume he had won vs. Wladimir - how much money would a UK company offer for the TV rights?

So, a victory in the first fight would have given him a big payday in the second fight.

How do you know that? Wlad was told that Haye pulled out during a press conference. Did you see his face turn to stone? HE WANTED the fight. He was definitely not afraid of Haye. They did not put shyte in the deal to make him pull out. Wlad wanted to defend the title, punish Haye for his big mouth, give a bombastic show in the arena, and get a decent payday. Is that bad?

And how do you know that Arreola does have a different contract?

Everyone else earned their fights with the Klitschkos by fighting top ranked HW fighters. All Gayfaker did was beat Barret and then start talking all kinds of ****. He didn't deserve a title shot but he got it anyway. Too bad he Gayfaked his way out of those fights to fight the Beast from the East. He's gonna have to fight the Klitschkos eventually and when he has a title, he'll have some more bargaining room and the contract won't seem so ludicrous.

Its not fair that haye would have been held to those many fights against the klits, but at the same time there is really no one else in the HW division to fight so it doesnt really make a difference
