its not about best wins. he wa, an accomplished professional that was in prime, fighting at home when pac beat him at a young age. how can you not give him credit for that?

By the way Xplosivo, where have you been?
Actually, no, Pacquiao ten years ago was primarily fighting at flyweight. That means, he has rougly gained 30-35lbs in a span of 10 years. And as you said, what's even more intriguing is that when Cotto first turned pro both fighers were seprated by nearly 20lbs. of fighting weight--so indeed, Cotto is the bigger man here.

I give Pacman credit. He's a great fighter. But to act like he has reigned over 6 divisions is ridiculous. His time as featherweight and super featherweight champion are what impress me the most. Winning a belt against a crappy titlist like David Diaz and an overrated Ricky Hatton are very decieving.

Why is the goal to just win a title and leave the division? Isn't there anything to be said for ruling a division?

But not 106 like many Pac fans claim.

I would imagine Cotto was very light at 16 as well.

he is just taking big fights now. if their was a viable opponent that can generate huge number on box office the im sure he would defend his belts, but who is outhere.

                    Juan Manuel Marquez is viable.
