No no no don't misquote me. I give Pac full credit for those wins. I'm not doubting his greatness at all, just the whole 7 division thing. Those wins you speak of came in 2 divisions. Those divisions I fully agree Pac dominated and deserves credit for reigning over. But lightweight? Come on now.

How many more losses would any fighter have if they skipped amateurs?
        200-155

Pacs first 25 opponenets combined record.
        All from the Philippines.

Did he jump right in against world class opponents? or against fellow counrty men fighting to put food on the table? You could argue that fighting the best from all over the world is greater then fighting a bunch of d-level boxers.

Like I said, sheltered Asian fighters.

That doesn't take away from his accomplishments at FW and SFW but it does take away from the whole 7 division thing.

Agreed. But this bull**** about PBF and Cotto hiding in the Amatuers needs to cease. The olympics has fighters beter than the ones Pac faced from 1996-1999

True story. Guys who make the Olympic teams take on stiff competition, albeit with head gear.

okay lets look at 135. who was the lineal champ at lightweight? Casamayor.

who was the consensus best lightweight at that time? Juan Diaz, who got beat by nate campbell.

Marquez beat casamayor & juan diaz. but before that happend lineal champ casamayor was in a fight vs santa cruz who beat casa but was blatantly robbed.

David Diaz knocked out santa cruz. diaz got knocked out by pacquiao.

                  Marquez is 0-1-1 vs Pacquiao.

You know damn well in this time & age there is no undisputed champion in any division.

135 belt that pacquiao won whether or not it was vs the 1# guy in the division is still legit.

Saying pacquiao won a belt in the 135 division is not a false statement.

Diaz should've lost to a "shell of himself" Erik Morales and was losing to Santa Cruz before the stoppage.

Pacquiao beat the WORST lightweight titlist available in David Diaz.
