IMO Tito did what he had to do as a boxer at that level. Even in a losing effort he challenged the A class fighters and took risks. A lot of boxers today are more worried about their records than boxing glory

because now more money invovle and more people who con boxers.

If a fighter loses look how fans going to treat him two lossess it just out of the question he have to restart his career.

Cotto did defeat Shane Mosley who defeated Oscar De La Hoya who "gave Tito a boxing lesson".

I think Tito was the slightly better welterweight between he and Cotto, but I think Cotto is at least on his level.

Again, Vargas and De La Hoya were both MOPPED by Shane Mosley. Cotto proved that he's on Shane Mosley's level by beating him.

I'm not 100% sold that Tito was all that better than Miguel Cotto.

As for who was the better fight I will go with Tito for sure.

Tito just have too much power that Cotto doesnt have. If they ever fought at WW Tito would beat him in less than 3 rounds.

Tito was ordered to re-wrap cause they felt he had too much gauze. After they re-wrapped in front of Naz and NYSC Naz wanted them to re-wrap again and they did.

From what I understand, the relationship the Puerto Rican people have with Miguel Cotto is nothing compared to what they felt for Tito. How Pacquiao is in the Philippines, Tito was in Puerto Rico. The people there love him. With Cotto, it's mixed from what I understand.
