Normally that would be true. But, against Judah Floyd walked Judah down. He didn't use the shoulder roll at all. He stalked him and broke him down systematically, was on his way to a stoppage until the low blow and rabbit punch combination...lol

He sure was. Loved his performance in that fight. I've always said that the difference between the very elite and the rest of the field lies in intelligence. Judah was the more physically gifted fighter but Floyd was Harvard while he was University of Phoenix.

A little, mainly because the shoulder roll defense he uses doesn't work as well against southpaws.

Floyd has pretty much beat the **** out of all the lefties he has faced, he really did a number on Corley and Mitchell, with Judah after the first couple rounds Floyd was butchering him.

He does have some issues with lefties though, because he has got stung by lefties. The shoulder roll is somewhat ineffective against lefties but really that is not Floyd's only defensive move, and I am sure Floyd is aware that the shoulder roll is ineffective against lefties.

I think Floyd's previous fights against lefties aid him in any future fights against southpaws but like I said before if Floyd is going to get hurt badly by one huge shot it will most likely come from a lefty.

            No southpaw is the same.

I remember reading somewhere that early on in his career, Floyd Sr. from Jail told his sons handlers never to put him in with a southpaw ever again. He's had trouble with Judah and was stunned by demarcus corley, both of whome were southpaws. I've always thought this and i havent seen any evidence to convince me otherwise.

corley, mitchell and judah are all 2nd rate southpaws.

corley and judah have a few moments against floyd but that was it.

2nd rate? Who are first rate skillwise?
