maidana is a very tough but limited fighter. victor is better skilled and have better potential.

He just seemed to fight the wrong fight against Maidana... he tried to brawl and put away a fighter that can ****, plus people find Ortiz's chin suspect... the fact that they were trading with a guy who has power like Maidana (record speaks for itself to be honest), kinda shows he fought the wrong fight... I do give props to Maidana though...

Hatton's still getting his fare # of votes.. I'd like to hear some of the explanations behind that one. I suppose he only lost to the #1 P4P fighter in the world so he shouldn't slide too much in rankings but as far as appearances and performances are concerned, Bradley appears to be the much better fighter IMO.

I think it's more a matter of a lack of maturity and mental strength. Folks generally become more mature as they grow older.

i think the fact he was headlining hbo and he was at staples probably in front of a lot of friends and family had a lot to do with it.
