Those names would make for an awesome "Sweet 16" single elimination type format. Boxing fans would get to know these fighters better and the excitement would grow throughout the course of the tourney. Something like this would attract many new fans around the world.
You do the 1st round in 4 seperate double headers in a 4 week period. Then you do the second round 3/4 months later in 2 separate double headers in a 2 week period. Then 3/4 months after that you are poised for the semis.Comment

It's Bradley until proven otherwise. Hatton was nearly killed against Pac, Malignaggi looks to be somewhat shot. Khan's jaw is more fragile than Calzaghe's hands. Ortiz quit after taking 10 right hands spaced over 6 rounds. Holt was beaten by Bradley and Cambell really is ****ing annoying; he shouldn't be on anyone's list after that DISGRACEFUL interview and quit job he pulled.
After Bradely it's got to be Maidana - the guy can bomb and is as raw as they come. Tough in body and tough in heart.Comment

just basing it on skills and potential.
it wasn't simply destroyed btw.
it was a damn good fight.
victor ortiz fought the wrong fight. that is all.
it was his first title shot , he was headlining an hbo telecast and it was in his hometown at staples center.
the skills are evident. the only question about ortiz was his chin. he answered that.
if he can get himself together mentally , he'd be a tough fight for anyone.Comment

Jesus. Maidana battered him and made him quit inside 6 rounds and you have Ortiz at 2 and Maidana not even in the top 5?
Terrible. Simply worthless.Comment
