So pacquaio beating cotto is not a great win?
After cotto beats pacman, cotto should fight mosley and get his belt and the ring, then berto if he doesn't lose it.

Paul Williams should campaign at WW if he wants a fight will Cotto or any other welterweight.

He has zero marketability so he needs to go about things the old fashioned way, aka beating everyone they put in front of him.

This idea that a guy that was dominated by Carlos Quintana not too long ago deserves multimillion dollar pay days is outrageous.

If he wants to be a WW champion, fight at WW, easy as that. Don't give me this "no one will fight me" garbage. Line up fights, become a mandatory, MAKE yourself be unavoidable.

This clown had the nerve to say he won't get in the ring with Kirkland "because he's too high risk". Wait isn't he the Punisher? I thought he takes on all comers? Except ones that are risky I guess.

Don't want to hear about Berto yet either. Berto is fighting and building himself up. Cotto would beat him easily and it wouldn't be a good fight for Andre.

I disagree with this because I believe beating JMM is a great accomplishment for Floyd. Plus Floyd is getting paid more than Cotto and Pac combined.

So why doesnt give other deserving welterweights shot instead of fighting blown up lightweights at Ww?

If Cotto is going to fight blown up lightweights at welterweight how can we called him a welterweight champion?

dontother welterweights deserve a shot at Cotto...?
One fight at the time boy.

Why is he forcing Pacquiao to moved up to welterweight...when Pacquiao weightclass is 140?

What does that win mean for has legacy...
Should he just have fought berto or williams?
              Its called making money.

Neither guy was chasing this fight more than the Promoter (Arum) seeing a win / win situation by putting his 2 best fighters together.

It's obvious Cotto can't make the 140 limit anymore, so from the beginning that was out of the question. Pacquiao has already fought over the 140lb mark against Oscar De la Hoya. He showed he still had speed and power at that weight limit and opened up the possibilities to fight a Welterweight in the near future.

Cotto has fought Shane Mosley, Antonio Margarito, and Joshua Clottey virtually back to back, so him taking the Pacquiao fight shouldn't be looked at as "Well, why not fight Berto or Williams?"...why? Because they bring nothing to the table. Hell, Williams vs Pavlik is only a 3.5 Million purse, that's not even half of what Cotto is getting for the Pacquiao fight.

A Miguel Cotto win puts him over the top without question. It sets up a potential Mosley vs Cotto II or the highly anticipated Floyd vs Cotto. The next few months will be telling for sure.

No, it'll be considered a great win by a great fighter.

I think you're looking a little too much into it. A win for both fighters will do great for their legacies. Only pessimistic people will have an opinion to shoot either fighter's achievement down.

99.9% of people will call a win over either fighter a great accomplishment.

Look *****, Cotto fighting Pacquiao is a big legacy fight for him, because Pac is already the king of the division Below and he already fought at WW. Plus Manny is going for legacy too. he is going for his 7th divisional title.

Floyd is fighting a guy who has never fought above 135. Theres no way you can defend that. JMM is a small LW let alone being a small WW.

It seems like you cant understand that, with all your fruity Copy/Paste and repeating yourself like a clown!!!!!!
