I agree, I might not like PBF (dont hate him either) and i was watching the Hatton fight because i like Boxing but not pulling for no fighter at all but when they boooed the anthem I inmediatley started wishing that PBF beat Hatton badly, not that it was Hatton's fault but i wanted those who boooed to be shut up.

Mayweather, during an interview with BOSSIP, made himself look silly by telling the outlet that he stands make more money against Juan Manuel Marquez on September 19 - than Pacquiao and Cotto will make combined when they face each other on November 14. A little hard to believe. In the same interview, Mayweather said there was $300 million sitting in his bank account. A few months ago there were numerous reports that Mayweather flew to Florida to ask Don King to borrow some money. Mayweather did not deny the meeting but never discussed the details. [details]
floyd is slowly but surely slipping away......
he better shut up he's exposing himself!!

whatever! I remember in 2006 during the NHL Stanley cup playoffs everytime my hometown Edmonton oilers played in the states the fans booed & drowned out our national anthem but instead of retaliating the classy fans of Edmonton gave standing ovations cheering the American anthem.your fans boo just as much!

Mayweather probably beats Cotto and Pacquiao and we know he has the greatest skills of our era. But its hard to believe Mayweather knocking out anybody. I know he knocked Corrales down a few times but come on don't insult our intelligence, Hatton got knocked out by the ringpost. I know boxing is traditionally racially supported but contrast him with some of the dignified athletes who carry themselves more professionally, maybe they get a different response from fans(?)

good post! I'll give an example...terrell Owens ridiculous touchdown celebrations(too many to pick one) or barry sanders scores & just hands the ball off to the referee without a peep & then retired without breaking his late Heroes rushing record.never a celebration after a score.he's a class act not like mayweather who is like Owens!

However I also want to see him beat the best at 147 like, Mosley and Cotto. I'm not saying that he will, or will not beat them but we will only know if they actually fight.

I don't neccessary like the guy (dont hate him either) but i can't blame him for not fighting Mosley or Cotto when at the moment he was fighting guys with lest risk but with a whole lot more of money. But in order to call himself the Greatest he will have to do it sooner or later.

But after these years being retired several fighers have emerge as the best fighters of the moment. If he wants to be the best P4P he needs to beat Pacquiao, if he wants to be the best WW he need to fight Mosley and/or Cotto Fighting JMM will not give him those recognitions back. He has the talent to probably beat them all but until he does it there will always be doubts surrounding his career. All the great ones have fought the best of their own era, Mayweather has not done that yet. If he wants to be call the greatest, he has to fight the best fighters available not the best money available.

Wether he'll beat and ko Pacman and Cotto, that's yet to be proven in the ring, he probably has the skill to do so, but until then it will be only part of what he does best Trash Talk.

On one thing I completely disagree with PBF is that he will never make more money than Pacman and Cotto combine for his fight against JMM and by the way he won't sell more either.

This is the 1st time that I have seen Mayweather Trash talk soo much about other fighters beside the one he's up to face. To me this is a clear indication that he has noticed that he's not the spot light of boxing any more, which is good because this might motivate him to fight the boxers that we have been wishing to see him fight.

Until then Pacman will continue to be the top p4p and Mosley and Cotto will be the top WW.
                well said, brah.....
                but i can't give u another green k yet!!

He is extremely arrogant but you can't hate on the guy... his skillset is awesome..

He is right about one thing though... he shouldn't have had to call out their names back then... he was the man. No one was barking up the tree... People would say, "I would like to fight Mayweather" but they never demanded a fight like Mosley was trying to do with Pac. If these guys would have done that then he would have definately fought them...
