Neither! Cotto is made to order and Pac's style leaves him
vulnerable to counters. I believe the fights would be tough
and competitive fights for Floyd but don't see him losing to
either. Pac may be more difficult due to his speed and good
power in a south paw stance. After watching Cotto against
Clottey there's no way I see him beating Floyd. IF Floyd is
saying he would knock Cotto and Pac out then you already
know what it do. Cotto nor Pac never went on record
and said that about him. Cotto doesn't even mention Floyd's
    name STILL.

Very true, either way Bob "*******" Arum is gunna ask for like a 60-40 split in Cotto or Pacquiaos favor...

If Pac wins there would be no question as to who the two best and most popular boxers are in the planet. Negotiations would be extremely contentious but in the end a more or less even agreement will be found thanks to the certainty of a huge overall pot to share around.

If on the other hand Cotto wins (as I expect) then Mayweather can go back to his usual rhetoric that Cotto is not up to his level and that he deserves to have a split similar to Pac's, something that a newly emboldened Cotto (and Arum) would be loathe to agree to especially considering that Cotto/Pac's PPV numbers will almost surely be higher than PBF/JMM even without actual PPV buys from the Philippines. Add to that Mayweather's obvious public disdain for Cotto and I actually see those negotiations as being more difficult. Just my take.
Why do you think Floyd said "I'll knock Pacquiao and Cotto out"
because he is setting himself up to go against whoever wins
that fight. I don't believe that people would think that Floyd
would be scared of Cotto? Cotto only pro going up against
Floyd would be his power but everything else goes to Floyd.
Cotto would get neutralized and tagged up.

if bob does that 60-40 shi with mayweather then the fight won't happen. everybody knows that mayweather fights for money.he sleeps money, thinks, drinks, and throws money away.in his mind no fighters gets more than him. arum needs to understand that..or **** everything up.

Same thing Roach and team Pac seem to be doing. Bigger split
for Manny over Cotto, weight and now title.

if pac gets by cotto which i don't think so. pac can throw all that biggest payday bull**** that cotto fell for out the window. there is no way he gets more money that pbf nor does he dictate the weight especially if floyd stops marquez which is something pac could'nt do.

Floyd picks safe fights against guys who do good PPV numbers. I have no idea who he's going to fight after JMM. Hopefully a legit welterweight!
Manny Pacquiao is doing the same thing but safer. Pac beat a zombie
Oscar and a wounded Hatton who were his next big fights AFTER Floyd
beat them at their best AND Pac still didn't do the PPV #'s Floyd did.

mayweather is the one fighter that spanks southpaws easily and wound up making it a boarring fight. cotto is a young, active, strong, and powerful welterweight..plus he can box. i think a mayweather vs cotto fight would be very interesting.

Cotto is too open for counters and Floyd's speed and defense
would frustrate Cotto. Cotto ring IQ is not high enough to
force Floyd to fight his fight. I do believe that Cotto would
force Floyd to bring his A game but that will only expose
Cotto more. AND the fact that Cotto corner is inferior to
Floyd's strategic wise, Floyd trumps Cotto.
