To go along with the rest of his resume it certainly trumps Calzaghe's.
agreed. cazlaghe mightve been bigger but he still didnt have the pop to faze mccallum. mccallum would put a real hurt on calzaghe especially to the body. calzaghe is just bigger and has better workrate. but hes to sloppy to beat any top fighter whos reflexes arent shot. mccallum was way too skilled and smart for calzaghe. mccallum over calzaghe TKO11

Toney. It isn't that close to be honest.

its funny how brits accuse americans of being biased even though they are clearly about a million times more biased themselfs. the simple fact that they dismiss all praise to american fighters simply cuz they are american. then they say americans dont give europeans credit
Some Brits. Not all of us are bias like that.

          ofcourse.

i just think its funny since there are far more brits who refuse to give americans credit than there are americans who refuse to give europeans credit. yet these brits keep saying americans dont give them credit.

its all they can say. obviously there are brits who know there boxing, but the ones who dont just say yanks this and americans that. look thru the thread, so many who dont know jack **** about boxing so all they say is "joe doesnt get credit cuz hes not american" they cant reason and explain why he should get more credit than toney (nobody can cuz he shouldnt). so they just fall back on the europeans dont get credit excuse

i mean anytime i say something bad about a european fighter its cuz im american, the fact that i acctually isnt american doesnt matter. then they just go away cuz thats all they can say since there boxing knowledge is so limited.

I strongly disagree with that comment.

Yes you get Brits/ Europeans that hate on American boxers sometimes I think it is because of the hate towards American fans.

A lot of British boxing fans would claim that their favourite fighters are infact American or non-British.

From my observation, its the opposite. Many are answering "Coz he's not American". Just like Assasin said, they cant explain why Joe is a better fighter so they change the subject.

Many are answering "Coz he's not American"? When and where?

When you say "many" are you talking about the British fans on here?

Tough one here. I think that virtuoso performance against ATG Peter Manfredo Jr. tips it in Calzaghe's favor though.
