      Stop what?Telling the truth?

McClellan suffered a small crisis in sparring before Benn all related by Salmaci the guy outweighed by about 15 lbs who made McClella blink and stop sparring with a jab.He had headaches. He couldn't pass an madical exam.Years of sparring with HWs,the first Jackson fight and his natural precondition along with the first Jackson fight all made this possible.

He was damaged goods going into the Benn fight.

James Toney by far..Calzaghe throwing alot of punches would favor Toney. Toney would counter him all day....

McCallum. u dont even know his name how u gon know how he was as a fighter? and even at that stage of his career mccallum would easily dispose of lacy and kessler at 168. and although he would struggle somewhat he would beat calzaghe too.

so am i (half, and half caribbean).

its funny how brits accuse americans of being biased even though they are clearly about a million times more biased themselfs. the simple fact that they dismiss all praise to american fighters simply cuz they are american. then they say americans dont give europeans credit

Lets be realistic here, the McCallum that Toney faced could not keep up with Calzaghe's pace for 12 rounds, he would have had early sucsess before gassing out due to the high pace and lost due to calzaghe stealing rounds with higher work rate.

I'm not saying prime McCallum would lose but the faded and old McCallum that toney faced sure as hell would have.

The McCallum Toney fought wasn't faded nor was he old. I think maybe you should watch these fights. While I don't know if he'd beat a bigger Calzaghe Mike McCallum - even the version that fought Toney - was an excellent fighter, a HOF'er. It's quite a scalp for Toney. To go along with the rest of his resume it certainly trumps Calzaghe's.

It was well known McClellon was at his peak condition for Benn.

                      An idea nutjob.

Stop jumping bandwagons and being gay over nationality. Look at thing with FACT and OBJECTIVENESS.

You belong on Boxing4real on Youtube.

What a load of rubbish, i hate 3yo American boxing fans who know jack about the fight try telling whats what.

                      GOON!
please.. i know jack **** about the fight? i watched it half a doussin times and followed mcclellans career, anyone can see he wasnt at his best. emanuel steward himself said it was hard keeping gerald in shape after he beat jackson cuz he got overconfident and didnt want to train or eat right. he also said he knew mcclellan was in bad shape for the benn fight.

and thats just his training. its a fact damage was done to his brain in the jacksons fight which later forced the stoppage in the benn fight.

i need to listen to facts and be objective? u are the one who denies things that are common knowlegde. and u are the one who cares about nationality. u are the one who bring it up all the damn time. its clear u like so many other brits clearly dislike americans.

ffs u call americans biased but u cant have a boxing conversation without bringing up americans not knowing **** or american fighters being overrated in general just cuz they are american.

im not american! im caribbean and european and i can say form a objective standpoint brits are a million times more biased, and overrate their fighters a billion times more than americans.

u hear euro trash sometimes from americans but bitching about the states is the only thing most of u brits ever do.
