I cosign, didn't get his ass beat just a few months ago? But these fake fans forget that quick and call him a legit fighter. He hasn't truly beat anyone. He fights bums, refused to avenge the 1 round ko loss, or give barerra a rematch. Now he's talking about fighting for a belt, I hope they fight each other instead of him.

The last guy i want to see khan fight is the erik morales. Yeah, it might help build his profile in the US but among the boxing community he's going to get more hate. This is a fight he does not need, his resume lacks credibitly as it is and beating up once great overweight fighters will hurt his reputation. I don't think frank warren sees that, he just sees the coin :wank:

I respect Khan for this decision. He is not like Calzaghe and Hatton, protected european hyejobs. Who's best win are past their prime fighters.

I actually won't matter seeing Khan beat Bradley or Alexander

This is such bollocks. Khan is only saying this because Ricky already knocked him back publicly.

He's trying to save face. It's annoying hearing Roach and Khan wanting the fight for months and stating it publicly only to turn around and pretend they don't now want it once Hatton says he isn't interested.

American dream my ass. It's just like Beckham going to the US trying to make it sound good, b/s. Hatton is the real deal in his weight division, just as Prem football is the real deal not MLS.

To the poster above, Khan will never reach Hatton/Calzaghe level. No hate, just fact.

No, until very recently, Khan was saying that he didn't want to fight Hatton because they are friends. Then after a lot of media speculation about the fight, he said that if the public demanded the fight he'd be willing to take it, but that he'd leave it to the promoters.

Roach was not exactly pushing for it either, he only said Khan may fight Hatton "somewhere down the line". He never said anything about fighting Hatton in the near future.

No, just opinion. You should look up what the word "fact" means in the dictionary. And given that can't even write accurately about what has happened in the past, it's hard to give your predictions about the future any credibility.

Great news. After he lost, I think he wizened up a lot. A bad chin will always make him vulnerable on each fights but it can work to his advantage. IMO, usually people identify with boxer's with vulnerabilities. Like me, I want to see you vulnerable then overcome your vulnerabilities. It's how you deal with adversity that pique's my interest on a boxer. This is why I'm slowly moving to being a fan on Khan.

Khan will never be ready for Bradley. His best chance is against Alexander. Khan = hypejob for sure.

Thats a typical example of why i try to avoid boxing forums.

Someone who is obviously new to the game talking garbage with enough conviction to believe its gospel.

Best wins against past their best fighters like Jeff Lacy who at the time was 21-0-0 a champion and 'americas next big thing' or perhaps Kessler? who is universally recognised as the number 1 supermiddleight NOW.

Kostya Tszyu on a thirteen fight winning streak and only beaten once prior, Castillo only a couple of fights after his demolition of corrales?

I think people who have opinions should at least let them be informed ones.

dang this guys first post and he's already makin a lot of since I'm not to big a fan of calzaghe but i still agree with what your sayin people just hate way too much on this site and call fighters that theyre not fans of "hypejobs" just because they lost very badly against two top fighters or because they beat guys they were tryin to fight a long time ago and then praise a guy like khan who imo lost worst than ricky did to pac when he got taken out by prescott in 1 round at least ricky got up twice before he got laid out and also made it past the first round

He would lose against Timothy Bradley. Not too sure about Devon Alexander.
