What he's talking about is true. All this catchweight **** is ruining boxing, ffs they've even made up a special bull**** belt for Pac to win against Cotto!

If you want to fight a champion you either fight at his weight or STFU.

If you agree to fight at a certain weight you fight at that weight or STFU.
so your telling me that if hatton was still undefeated and had another big payday he would be ****ting on boxing like that in favor of mma. he is just bitter he was exposed. as for his brother if his last name wasnt hatton he wouldnt have even got this fight. he will lose at any weight against judah and i wouldnt be surprised if zab kod ricky at this point as well

This is why boxing is in serious trouble, listen to some of you. So arrogant and thinking that nothing can ever touch the sport we love.

Come on guys ffs, boxing has some SERIOUS problems. It has gotten away with them for a long long time as there has never been anything to challenge it, now there is and it needs to be addressed ASAP.

Boxing can return to the top, things that would help boxing

1 - Belt for each weight class, no average fan knows the difference between WBO, WBC etc. all they want to know is who's the champion in that weight...when they ask that question they don't want to be told...well pac holds the wbc belt and khan holds the wba belt but pac also holds the diamond belt so ya know....

2 - Bull**** promoters protecting there fighters, look at Frank Warren. I can bet you £100 the 3 British olympic fighters he's signed will all go 15-0 easilly, so boring and who's gonna want to watch there fights? You know what, the fans are too blame for this. You read these forums after any top fighter looses and it's all 'hmmm he should retire, he got KTFO!!!!!' it's ****ing pathetic and needs to stop.

3 - Better cards, you watch a UFC card and you have 2-3 real good match ups then 2-3 decent fights and then another 5 fights on an undercard. Boxing you get 1 main fight and a bunch of fighters that no-ones really heard much about.

The main problem is, is the UFC have the best MMA fighters (bar 1 or 2) in there organization, all owned by 1 company whereas in boxing you have fighters all owned by different promotions and it just doesn't work. Look at the rubbish Haye had to put up with to get a fight with the Klits. What a joke.

I am glad there is something challenging our sport as it might make people wake up and realise how ****ed up some stuff has become in boxing.

Hello and bollocks. The double standards in this forum are quite something to behold. Everyone moans like f.uck when the goalposts get moved for cotto, yet because its only Mat Hatton he should accept it? Wankers.

Maybe Ricky is just going off boxing after being KTFO twice.

Hatton is only saying what everyone else has said about boxing.

It's a fcuking joke how negotiations are carried out and the amount of b/s twists and turns. No honour involved.

And all this w@nkers coming on the thread to let their inferiority complex and jealousy spill out about Hatton can go fcuk themselves. Multi-weight world champ and multi-millionaire bitchez. Eat it.

The Ufc blows. It's just a fad. All it's going to take for it to crumble is another organization offering decent money to the fighters. The UFC has a real problem with the slave wages they pay. It's just waiting to be exploited.

£3,000, 6 minutes later ... what was that? This is the last time I'm coming so far out to support a boxer ever again, so disappointing I feel sick to my stomach, at least Vegas was nice.
