Is money more important to Mosley than getting some work in before the year is over? If he waits until next year to fight, how the hell is he going to get a shot at Mayweather or Pacquiao? I think that it is shady that Mosley has to fight guys like Berto and Clottey after beating a guy who is a better fighter than both of those boxers. But Shane has to stay busy and get back some leverage. He is #1 in my mind, but that doesn't change the fact that he is out of the spot light right now.

Shane could have made about 4 Mil right now since his fight with
Margarito fighting two other opponents. Mosley just thinks he is
in the same league as Pac and Floyd commercial wise with his
career but he's not. Shane dropped the ball after De La Hoya.
He needed some better business ethics...... father as your trainer
while your wife is manager? Right there that spells emotional
        disaster.

As far as beating a champion to WIN a belt rather to keep winning them while they are vacant does not cement legacy. No one has annnounced when introducing fighters ,"won 5 titles , while 3 were won while being vacant," u cement ur legacy by BEATING the best fighters , kind of like ur boy in ur avatar ..gtfoh G,
I just think it would be in Cotto's best interest to fight Mosley
again considering the fight was so close the first time and
Mosley demolished the only guy to beat Cotto.

I agree that Cotto doesn't have to fight Mosley but I would like to see it as well. I mean, it makes money and it would be very competitive and entertaining like the first one.

Mosley take this fight and run with it your not

Getting any younger and the longer you take the more people forgot what u did to margachito. Oh and by the way lets be honest mosley lost a split decision to cotto. Lets be honest and not bias.

Mosley beats marga and he will beat berto but

Againts guys who are slick and good boxers he would have trouble. He did great againts margarito because of styles. Margo style was perfect for shanes so we saw the end result. But againts a boxer or a boxer/puncher he would have problems. He could beat cotto in a rematch but not by much.

Cotto doesn't have to fight Mosley but IF Mosley fights and beats
Berto for another title and becomes the unified champ of the
WW division, why wouldn't Cotto want to fight him for the crown?
Mosley #1 and Cotto is #2.

Berto doesn't throw enough or has enough power to disturb
Mosley. Berto is not technical enough and doesn't have a
good jab to give Mosley problems.

Mosley can fight Clottey, Berto, or that IBF champ at WW. A win over them will put him ca nin the line at a shot against Pac, Cotto, or Floyd. He better hope that Cotto wins. I beleive that fight could be made. But it will probably be by Cotto's rules (sad but true) If he beats him which I'm confident he will. Then a Floyd fight maybe can happen by the end of 2010. I really don't beleive Roach will let him near Pac. But he needs to get a fight by November at least.

Shane should be on the level of Hoya and Mayweather. But they both never fought Winky Wright, lol. I think he would beat all three. I think Floyd backed out of a deal with Wright. Not sure about it but it was over a 50/50 split. Hoya wasn't going to fight Wright.
The more I think about Shane the more I think about Nas. He should be on Jay-z, Puff, and 50 status. But bad buisness choices has ****ed his career up, like Mosley

As for Williams offering Mosley a huge payday. I don't believe **** out of Goosen's mouth anymore. But they should have known that Shane wasnt going to fight him.
