How does Pacquiao deserve a diamond belt at WW? He's never beat a true WW, and he's fighting a champion who won the championship out of vacancy. At the least he should be fighting the lineal champ to get a diamond belt. I'm sure has an extra high sanctioning fee attached to it.

I kind of miss the days when Bernard Hopkins was rated #1 P4P before Mayweather and Pacquiao. He didn't duck Jermaine Taylor and he got robbed in those fights. He wasn't the most exciting fighter to some people but he has left no loose ends where fighting all comers is concerned hardly. Sure, there are still some more young guys to tackle, but the point is that he didn't dodge a challenge and didn't fight for made up belts. Mayweather never has fought for made up belts either except for the IBF in the Zab Judah fight.
