It's a problem that HBO and Showtime have a monopoly on boxing. To break this monopoly fights need to be televised on non-premium television networks like CBS, ABC, TNT, NBC, or S p i k e, like it was in the 80's.
If boxing was televised on non-premium television networks, it would attract a larger viewing audience, boxers would get more money, and there would be less power on promoters and more power to the boxers.
