He's probably a top 100 fighter all time, but if he had gotten the nod in those fights it would have helped tremendously when looking at his accomplishments.

Because they only look at his downs and not his ups. But when it comes to their fighters, that doesn't apply.

I got to say that I am not a De La Hoya fan but he was a damn good fighter and should make top 100 ATG, but I don't think even if he did get those nods if he could make it way too much higher in the list.

Depends on how long your personal ATG list is. I'd say he already is even wit his present record. And he won both those fights, he just didn't get the decisions.
