If it wasn't for the low blows, would Tito have still beaten El Feroz Vargas?

I'm not crying...Tito was a hell of a fighter, but I just got done watching the fight again and I can't believe that Tito got away with it.

I am not even a Tito fan, but I just had to say something here...Tito did not have plaster in his wraps. What I recall is that he was wrapping them differently, and the way he wrapped them is legal in some states.

I didn't say plaster I just said "hardened" even Don Felix admitted that he always wrapped Tito's hands like that after they were forced to remove them before the BHop fight.

I know you didn't say plaster, but for some reason when you said hardened I thought of something being placed in the wraps. All I know is that wrapping your hands the way Tito did is allowed in some states. Wonder how many peepz use that style of wraps today?

You obviously did not follow Fernando's career very well. He was a one of the best ameatures in the world. Besides Oscar De La Hoya, there was not to many ameatures like him. He was the youngest Junior Middleweight champ ever.

Two left hooks, two times down, (1st rd) it was just a matter of time..... props to Vargas for giving it his everything but fell short, better fighter won that night.
