No one's trying to put down European fightes, just hatton and haye.

Furthermore, Mayweather Senior told a reporter that hatton conistently failed to listen to him; kept listening to Lee Beard. One poster noted sardonically that what instead of listening to Mayweather Senior what hatton needed was 'more Lee Beard.' Why should Mayweather Senior show up to training on time if no one was listening to him? It could be the other way around, but it takes two sides. I am willing to bet that things broke down on both sides, not just on Mayweather's side.
You seem to have a personal issue with Hatton and carry a chip on your shoulder so forgive me if I disregard your rather bitter analysis.

I just don't like him. No worries. I was mostly just challenging you for stating that americans are putting down European fighters. It's just not the case. They just happen to BE European fighters...at least to me, anyway.

FWIW I like Amir Khan, Klitschkos, Lewis and...believe it or not...even though Jennings ran his mouth a bit about something which irked me, I would not mind seeing him improve his game and make his way to the elite rankings.

Hatton was never any good. His win over Kostya was blown way out of proportion. Kostya was a finished fighter coming off an 18 month lay off or so. Hatton was always overhyped. Collazo beat the **** out of Hatton.

And that is a fact jack.

The Collazo fight was the reason why Floyd wanted to fight Hatton at 147.
If Floyd had any balls or any heart, he would have finished Hatton in one round.

Manny Pacquiao moved up to 140 and just mopped the living day lights out of Hatton. I was watching the fight and it looked like a janitor was up in the ring mopping the ring with Hatton's corpse.

That is how champs do it. WAR baby WAR!

im tired of the argument that "oh it took manny 2 rounds to KO hatton and it took floyd 10"

                  STYLES MAKE FIGHTS...
the reason why is because Manny is tryin to kill you every round

floyd however is different all he wants is to outbox you and to skillfully and slowly take you apart

No one's trying to put down European fighters, just hatton and haye because they are narcissistic attention whores and neither one of them can really back up with they brag about. Oh, yeah, I know that haye was a premiere cruiser weight...have you ever heard of another cruiser weight?

                      Agree completely!

I lost all respect for Hatton when he decided to fight Carlos Maussa for an easy title. He lost to Collozo, I have watched that fight 10 times and can't see a case for him winning. JLC was shot and at a new weight, He struggled against an ancient Lazcano and Mallinagi was garbage to begin with. He resume is not that great, it really isn't!

I'm sorry but the guy was and is a tosser.
