Floyd didnt damage hatton nearly as bad as all the drinking a ballooning between fights did. Your logic is still off though. 1 fight can ruin a fighter while some fighters can lose multiple times and still be fine.

Imagine, if you will, two girls in highschool. One is considerably more attractive than the other.
Over the years they treat their bodies in different ways, with the attractive one living an unhealthy lifestyle of much drinking, lots of partying, little sleep etc, while the other one lives a healthy life with little drinking, lots of sleep etc.

When they approach their thirties their roles have changed; The attractive one is now weathered and tired while the unattractive one is peaking according to the biological nature.

This is much like fighters; some have a healthy mind-set and dicipline to go with their age-favorable fighting style, while others doesn't.

Ricky Hatton is one of the small infighters that takes alot of punishment due to his style, like Frazier, Marciano, Tyson etc.
None of these people have been able to sustain their success when approaching the age of 30.
Marciano did never lose, but he came closer to it every fight.

I remember reading a summary of a book, or maybe it was an article, where the author had studied the careers of small infighters like the mentioned ones.
The common trait he could find was that almost none were very successful beyond the age of 28-30.

Take this into consideration when comparing different fighters and styles on the surface.
        very informative. green k sent

there are so many reasons why a fighter lose.. but there are WAY... more excuses than those reasons..

I bet floyd will use all excuses if JMM surprisingly beats him..

--JMM by split decision unless he gets KO'ed by fraudy.

First of all most of jmm's losses are close calls not ass whoopins. All Mayweathers lastest opposition have learned their lesson about talkin sh#t. One thing about Money May is that he does what he says. You dont hear Pacman, Cotto, Oscar or Freddie Roach talk about May gettin beat because they know tha boyz a real problem and he was pretty clear in sayin he could put it on any of those fighters. Now all the mayhaters should do the same and stfu or train to fight him themselves.

floydboys often make **** up to discredit other fighters who aren't black or named floyd Mayweather.
