To be honest, I'm disappointed of him because he's ducking Caballero, but I can't put him on the same category as Zsolt Erdei, Omar Narvaez or even Edgar Sosa because they're been "champion" for much longer and they don't even try to do an unification or at least fighting someone with a pulse, at least Juanma is calling out Marquez and Vazquez. You choose the wrong guy if you think that I was going to defend him for being Puertorrican.Comment

Youre right many people have black belts today because of how it easy it is now compared to then. He was the 1st man in the western hemisphere to accomplish this though and he didnt do it at your local mom and pop Karate Dojo.Ok so he got an 8th degree black belt, but guess what? There are dozens of them! Everyone and their mom has gone to karate school and gotten black belts yet never once gotten into a fight or stepped into the ring. If you want to truly see some amazing martial artist who really proved that their martial arts work, (Not through legends, amazing stories of using chops to send bones through people skulls to destroy their brains with one chop and other nonesense without proving it, then you might want to look into some other people) then you will want to check out people such as:
1. Benny the Jet Urquidez
2. Masutatsu Oyama (Mas Oyama)
These are examples of magnificent fighters who not only proved that their martial arts worked, yet they stepped into the ring and debunked many of the myths out there about martial arts.
Chuck Norris is an action hero along with Van Damne, and many others
"In your own statment you said he is a lot more than a movie star and a point tournament fighter. He was the first Westerner to get a black belt in many forms of Matial Arts"
How many people do you know who have gone to John Ree and other martial arts schools and become black belts yet they cannot even win a shadowboxing match? Just because you get a black belt in the now commercialized karate systems doesnt mean you are a god.
Perhaps it is you who needs to do the research my friend
183-10-2 Thats his record. Thats one of the most impressive records from that time in martial arts and of al time.
Before I go any further though i just realized we are debating chuck norris on a boxing forum. Its not like any boxer could beat Chuck in any kind of fight so I digress.Comment

LOL..you caught a typo. That must make you quite the scholar and literary juggernaut. I'm impressed. There was no need to argue point by point what you wrote because it was clear that nothing you wrote was rational. You took a list of champions, many whom have been engaged in wars and belittled them by implying they were cowards for nonsensical reasons. At the end of the days these guys fought. That's not what a coward does. Since we already pointed out how superior your grammar is since you have the ability to catch a typo on an internet forum, maybe you should devote some of your intellect to study reasoning an rationality. You would be unstoppable after acquiring those traits.before calling another post horrible you need to counter-argue the points. Before doing that you have to learn to spell and create proper sentences.
Worse = Worst?? perhaps?
Worst grammar in some time (you get an F) Before judging my post you should go back to grammar school.

and the worst post of the night award goes too...The following are cowards
1. Vitali Klitschko (Avoided Hasim Rahman like the plague. Even though he would have won the fight.)
2. Floyd Mayweather -(Picks and chooses opponents instead of fighting everyone, denied people rematches for close fights.)
3. Jose Luis Castillo (Cheated one too many times not to be considered)
4. Nate Campbell (Cried like a ten year old school girl during his last fight and intentionally petitioned his corner to call it off)
5. Sugar Ray Leonard (Fearful of Aaron Pryor)
6. Jermain Taylor (any time a Caucasian fighter laces up the gloves Taylors blood pressure goes off the register)
7. Rid**** Bowe (Threw away titles to avoid Lennox Lewis)
8. Joe Calzaghe - excuses to postpone almost every fight (and to add to that waited till everyone was 75 to fight them. Talented fighter but wasted it away.
9. Roy Jones Junior (See Floyd Mayweather)
10. Antonio Margarito (loaded gloves/handwraps (If it truly was unknown to him as he says then he will be removed)
11. Too many more to name throughout historyComment
