Everyone and their mom has gone to karate school and gotten black belts yet never once gotten into a fight or stepped into the ring. If you want to truly see some amazing martial artist who really proved that their martial arts work, (Not through legends, amazing stories of using chops to send bones through people skulls to destroy their brains with one chop and other nonesense without proving it, then you might want to look into some other people) then you will want to check out people such as:


1. Benny the Jet Urquidez
2. Masutatsu Oyama (Mas Oyama)


These are examples of magnificent fighters who not only proved that their martial arts worked, yet they stepped into the ring and debunked many of the myths out there about martial arts.

How many people do you know who have gone to John Ree and other martial arts schools and become black belts yet they cannot even win a shadowboxing match? Just because you get a black belt in the now commercialized karate systems doesnt mean you are a god.
