Again, Mayweather takes this one HANDS DOWN. Marquez and his fans are delusional.
mayweather probably will take the fight but it wont be ny KO so he will have to box his way 2 a decision because he doesnt have the 1 punch KO pop either unless the fighter has no defense and just comes right into his perfectly timed shot which marquez wont do

I must say that Juan Manuel Marquez is a warrior in the ring. I know his preparation for this fight will be the toughest camp of his entire career. The stage he will be on come September will be the BIGGEST of his career. The only problem is... He's chosen the wrong opponent. Floyd "Money" Mayweather is the wrong guy for him. Floyd is undefeated. Never lost a fight in his career of fighting. He has the advantage in Power, Speed, Size,Age and he has more Dimensions than a Diamond! I think he will feel JMM out for about 3 rounds. I believe JMM will throw his best blows inside of 3 rounds. After that Floyd Mayweather will start to land power shots. His speed and power is going to be too much for JMM. Marquez is the kind of fighter that will bring out the best in Floyd Mayweather. I see Floyd Mayweather with a KO by round 7. That fight will not go the distance! The ENERGY from all the fight fans in the MGM that night is going to be awesome! Floyd Mayweather lives to fight in those type of venues... Remember he's been to the BIG DANCE on several occasions and WON them all.... It's going to be fireworks as long as it last, because Juan Manuel Marquez will have a COUNTRY behind him that night. Wow! I'm getting more and more excited.

its like comparing oranges and apples.....

Judah is a fast offensive fighter while JMM is a counter puncher....very different styles.....JMM could never evolve into a fast offensive fighter this late in his career

Pacquiao isn't exactly a slick defensive fighter...Marquez looked good timing Pac(who is strictly offensive)...he aint never fought a Mayweather

Marquez beat a old washed up version of Barrera and Casamayor wasn't exactly prime either...and Corrales beat Casamayor

I agree with what you said about Barrera and Casamayor being past their prime. But it's hard to dispute the fact that they would beat the last few opponents no Floyd's resume before he retired. That aside, I think JMM has a tall mountain to climb with Mayweather and he has to dominate him to get the victory.

You're leaving out the fact that Marquez himself is not a prime fighter where as Floyd is or was in his prime when he fought Baldomir, Corrales, DLH, and Hatton.

I think we can all agree that Marquez has been fighting better competition towards the end of his career than Floyd has.

Yea Marquez is old himself...that doesn't make his victories look better

Two past prime fighters fighting doesn't mean the fight would be the same if both were at their best...but I give Marquez credit for his wins

Yea Marquez has fought tougher competition lately than Floyd(only due to Pac)...Diaz is good but not on the level of Hatton or DLH...

Well Oscar's at 154 so can't really say on that...
                      Hatton-Barrera/Casa are interesting fights

                      All would beat Baldomir though...
