Marquez Saw Keys in Mayweather's Bout With Judah

WBA/WBO lightweight champion Juan Manuel Marquez is going through the toughest training camp of his career. Over the weekend, he sparred for twelve hard rounds in the Mexican heat as trainer Ignacio "Nacho" Beristáin pushed him on. Marquez is preparing for the biggest fight of his career, against Floyd Mayweather Jr. on September 19 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Marquez sparred three rounds a piece with Roberto Norris, Juan Manuel Montiel, Antonio Fernandez, and Alejandro Barrera. [details]

    Sounds good.

I'm glad he's considering this as his biggest fight of his life. Shame it's way out of his comfort zone.

I can't wait for the fight though.

He's wasting his training coz the fight may be cancelled....no one's buying the PPV and Gayrunner"s is in jail.....another excuse to cancel the fight

If marquez had been abit younger then maybe he would have had a chance. I jus don't see him winning! Too small and to old!

I'm guessing he meant to say 16 oz gloves, not 6 oz gloves.
