My commenting on his intelligence is in response to an earlier post from someone saying Resto shouldn't be forgiven because he was smart enough to know what he was doing. I don't think intelligence should play a factor, but in the debate on whether or not Resto is a dumbass, IMO he very much is one.
****** or not,you don't have to be a rocket scientist to know if your gloves are tampered.
He knew,he admitted and that is that.

I didnt say he shouldnt be forgiven. I forgive him, I merely said he knew what he was doing. How you can speak on his intelligence level when english isnt his first language is beyond me.
Even after watching "Assault in the Ring", I still say Resto is a lying piece of garbage.
The documentary tried to portray Resto as the victim, **** him. Don't be easily persuaded by propaganda.
Panama and Resto will both be in hell for sure, good riddance.
You don't think on some level Resto is more forgivable than Lewis as he has shown more remorse and has actually been able to admit his wrong doings whereas Lewis has really done none of that?
Resto doesn't seem to have forgiven himself for what he did, and that says something, IMO. At least he knows that he did wrong, and lives with that guilt. Panama Lewis walks around like he's done nothing wrong...
I hate Lewis a lot more than Resto...
I wouldn't say I forgive him for what he did, but I give him more respect for owning up... but, all that is taken away by what he did really..

He knew his gloves were tampered for sure but i don't think he knew to what extent the damage would be to Collins or the ramifications that damage would have. Regardless of him not knowing this I don't think that absolves him completely of any guilt but what I'm saying he's had guilt enough for this situation.
yes....he admitted to his mistakes ...did his time in jail.....never given a second chance for his carreer....what else do they want from this guy.....true he did collins wrong but it was'nt his fault collins died at all....

It's obvious that Resto is no victim, he's just more of a sympathetic character than Lewis, as he bares his guilt, and lives with it... while Lewis doesn't seem to give a ****..
Watching, they actually both said the same thing. Both said they didnt know who took the padding out, so how can you look more favorably on one than the other.

You can still get an understanding of his thought process and the things that are occurring to him. His English is choppy and I'm sure there a lot of ways in which he can't articulate what he's thinking but he still seems to have an extremely simple thought process. Hey, maybe I'm wrong. It doesn't bode well for him regarding his intelligence that he's flat broke with minimal prospects for his future.
No, you can simpatize more with him, because he looks like he really regrets what he did, but you cant forgive him, for knowing what it was going on and still run with it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
