I love boxing, and this thread is as ridiculous as asking who'd win in an American Football match, A team of all the boxing champions vs the Patriots, or Who'd win one on one basketball, Wlad or Michael Jordan, (MJ is past his prime though lol) but it would likely play out like this - Fedor would be very aware that he is against a very good boxer, and would likely shoot very low, (double leg takedown) which if wlad was in a boxing stance, wouldn't get out of the way of quick enough, or if he threw a punch would just land on the back of fedors head, Fedor takes him down and submits him very early. Another possibility is that Wlad keeps his lead arm out far, like he loves to, making that patting swiping motion, and it gets broken. Wlad KOs Fedor only if for some reason fedor sees no wlad footage, and no one tells him wlad is a champion boxer, also someone misinforms him that wlad is a Brazilian Ju Jitzu artist with no punching power.

If certain people are basing their opinions on Mercer vs Sylvia and Fedor vs Arlovski, then they really need to become a bit more enlightened. Mercer was easily defeated twice in K1. In the Fedor vs Arlovski fight, Fedor was really just waiting on his chance. Someone mentioned that he planned on winning while standing up, because of remarks about him ''fighting like a man''. If that's the case, he did exactly that.

There's no way a guy like Fedor would let Klitschko fight the fight he wants to. Klitschko dominates most of his opponents in boxing because he simply doesn't let them do a whole lot when he's firing out that jab and keeping his range. What use will that jab be when he's tackled to the ground, or kneed, or kicked, or put in a chokehold or whatever Fedor decides do do with him?

Perhaps he is, but in all honesty i say an above average Professional MMA Artist beats a champion boxer in an MMA bout 4 out of 5 times, and fedor is way above an above average MMA fighter.

They're 2 different sports, have Fedor challenge Wlad in boxing and fedor gets his ass kicked, have Wlad challenge A-Rod to a home run derby and wlad gets his ass kicked, have A-Rod and Wlad box, well you know. MMA and Boxing are similar, because boxing can be incorporated but they're different enough that whoever trains in the particular sport will have a huge advantage.

mercer is 48 yrs old and was destroyed by wlad 8 years ago,,,so he shouldnt be used as a comparison at all. obviously fedor would tap him out if he took him down,,but chances are descent that wlad would get at least one good shot in as fedor would be wide open attempting a take down. one clean shot from wlad and fedor would be out. those mma guys arent used to taking a hard hitting pro boxers punches. it could go either way
