What will Fedor do then to get close to Wlad?

Seems to work for Machida with his long kicks.

fedor would move in and shoot for the takedown, or grab a hold of wlad and trip him.

theres no way wlad could defend fedors takedown throught the entire fight..wrestlers who have been training to defend the takedown for years aren't able to defend fedors takedowns. wlad would be easy meat for fedor.

He didn't do that against Arlovski who by the way aswell as being smaller is not even a 10th of the fighter Wlad is. Arlovski was able to keep him at bay until he got ****ing ******.

Fedor chose to stand with Arlovski because of all the trash talk Freddie Roach did leading up to the fight..Freddie called on Fedor to keep the fight standing and "fight like a man" and that's what Fedor did. KO rnd 1.

Wlad knows he would lose..I remember when Mayweather was talking about trying MMA, Wlad was one of the first boxers to release a press statement urging Floyd not to do it.Because he knew Floyd would lose and it would make boxing look bad.

lmfao its funny how you guys think fedor would win, he fights bum fighters at best. wlad is a world champion boxer, no way would fedor be able to get close into him cuz of his size and reach with the tremendous boxign abilities he has

Wlad could do well in MMA if he learned to defend the takedown and defend from his guard, like Mirko Cro Cop did..

I believe top boxers would own in MMA if they ever decided to cross over..but they would have to cross train extensively to deal with wrestlers, jui jitsu and muay thai styles but absolutely they could do well in MMA.

But to say that Wlad would beat Fedor when he hasn't done any cross training is absurd.

                    could go either way

an mma fighter is obviously an all round better fighter vthan a boxer - kicks, wrestling, takedowns etc but one semi clean dig from wlad in little gloves and its all over

vitali, ex kickboxing champ, v brock lesnar in MMA rules would be VERY VERY VERY interesting

Fedor was able to take Cro Cop down, and Cro Cop's legs were waay better than Wlads.
