One more thing...I agree with the veterans of the sport quitting on their stool because it is the end of there career, and they are not what the once was and they hang'em up afterward. Nate is no vet!!! He is just old. That dont make you a vet of the game. He isa late bloomer. Juan Diaz is a young buck and turn pro around the same time..is he a vet...No hes peaking. But i do agree with the first part. It just dont apply to Nate!Ive said it a million times. As a fan watching someone take a beating for a living, if at any time, a fighter, especially a vet like nate, feels he cant continue, then he doesnt have to. im not the one in there taking the beating, therefore i have no right to sway my opinion one way or the other.Comment

I forgot more about boxing then you'll ever know. The only thing you contribute here is the swinging on Manny Pac's sack while finding ways to call pro boxers quitters and when they should "go out on their sheild". Your boxing IQ can't get any lower.Comment

You aint in there doing the fighting, so you cant say ****.example: Nate Campbell put a black eye on the sport last night. I was a Nate fan up until is B**** in the ring last night. So you get head butted...You dont lie about not being able to see before the 4th round is complete so you can get a No Contest. This is one of Many examples:
We as fight fans pay to see fights and competitive ones. We pay good money for PPV bouts and pay to enter these arenas to see good action. There should be some known repercussion to quitting. Like back to the drawing board per say.
There are plenty of real good fighters in little gyms all around dreaming of a shot at the spot light. many that would rather die than lay down. I believe if fighters knew that if they quit it could be a career disaster and it could all be taken away with in a round ,they might dig deep and find a way to fight through. Like we do in the armatures , we stay hungry. You quit there and you can forget it being scouted out. I know how it is in that ring and if you cant fight on...you dont need to be in this sport. Plenty of others willing to take the place of a quitter.Comment
