1st let me say very itellegent post and good points

      1) Wlad is boring - I have posted it before and I will say it again to me he is extremely boring to watch. jab jab jab jab jab jab jab jab jab jab jab jab "ANNOUNCEMENT" right hand jab jab jab jab jab jab jab jab jab jab jab jab hold hold hold hold jab jab jab jab jab jab jab jab jab jab jab jab jab jab jab "ANNOUNCEMENT" right hand...While i feel he is very skilled he fights scared all the time. He has had his chin checked on a few occasions and now he developed a style while it is hard to beat is VERY BORING TO watch....

      2) Floyd has avoided people - now whether it be because he is afraid or because the fight didn't amke sense well.... umm the answer is going to dpeend on who you ask. I posted some sim threads and posts and I agree the Oscar and Hatton fights were not going to be turned down by any fighter. I mean anyone heard the dinner bell ringing that loud they are going to come running fork and knife in hand no? Judah was a tough fight for him at that time people thought Judah was going to win and may argue that while Judah was fighting Baldy he may have been looking past him and that is why he actually lost to Baldy. Baldy is the guy who beat the guy and if he would have passed on that fight to fight Margerito the cement mixer people whould have blasted him for that. The fact is when you are on top no matter what you do people are going to have ish to say. The saying goes damnd if you do and damnd if you don't. His retirement well everyone is or has a right to retire when they think they have had enough right? His hands are a big part of things for him a boxer needs his tools fighting with bad hands it like hanging a picture with out a hammer. It is not good for business code red my friends. Floyd could do more by making less contradicting stements to reporters and sports writers but Floyd will br Floyd. To improve his standing well he probably never be able to with his haters but for me it will be to fight Cotto or soemone in the top 3 in the division he is fighting in whether it be at 140-147.

      3) Cotto never beat a champion - to say that is a false statement especially in today's world of boxing. I mean what is a true champion fellas there are so many friggin belts today that every time I watch a fight it seems like it is 12 rounds for some alpha bet title I never heard of. The fact is Cotto may have never fought a belt holder well besides Tony The Cement Mixer Margarito but he has beaten Champions. Mosley, Clottey, Judah, Paulie M. I mean they might have not held belts at the time they fought but he did beat them and they are Ex Champs. His resume is better than most at 147 and the fact to me is I rather see him fight a Mosleythen say a Jennings because Jennings holds a belt.

I thought the Clottey fight was a risky situation to put Cotto in win or lose. I was happy though to see him finally doing right by Josh.

See I really did not look at the fight like that, Clottey looks the part of a top fighter but he has always been a cut below because of his mentality and how he always seems to gas out/give rounds away. It was good that Josh did get an oppurtunity to see if he was more then a B level fighter but I think Arum understood Josh's calibur clearly.

I want to see what Arum does for Clottey next because to me he has never really shown much interest in Clottey other then being an opponent for his top guys.

The thing is though this was a winnable fight for Josh going in and many people knew that. The fact that he was able to get a SD in the garden shows how winnable it was. What I think would have happened if Cotto did lose is the Pac fight would be off the table and Bob would let Cotto explore other options before possibly resigning him. Either way I think it was risky considering the money that the Pac fight is going to make. Some have even said that the fight was punishment for Cotto speaking out against Bob for helping Margarito. Either way the timing just seemed odd to me. Happy it happened though.

Cotto had that huge gash though if Clottey could not take advantage and win with that advantage IMO he was never going to win. He just let that fight slip away it was all there for him and it really is not the first time he has done stuff like that. I think it was a fight that looked risky but in reality was somewhat less risky although Arum had to find out where Cotto was at so he had to put him in with someone who was a test and Clottey is a test, but to me he is a test to seperate the men from the boys.

Arum was talking the Pacman fight before the Clottey even happeaned to me that shows me what Arum thought was going to take place and it also allowed him to keep Cotto under contract by givng him a huge fight and no matter who wins that fight Arum has control of the winner so he can not lose.

If Clottey won Arum would have had to do some different things, probably a rematch of Cotto-Clottey, but I don't thinnk he ever really thought about Clottey winning and he certainly did nto want that to happean. It is boxing though and anything could have happeaned and almost did.

Amir Khan has a bad chin

WTF? The guy gets knocked out once(by a huge opponent mind you) therefore he has a bad chin? I bet he has a very strong chin, just look at it

I scored the fight for Clottey but knew he could not win a ud or even sd if it was close. Clottey was Cotto's first true test post Tony. The cut did paly a part but honestly cut or no cut I think Clottey would have gave Cotto issues. If the way the tempo the fight was going prior to the cut was any indication it would be a had fight none the less. The did make Cotto have to retreat more than he may have liked but I think even if this wasn't the case it would have been a tough fight. I hope Arum does something with Clottey and I have the feeling he will pull and upset if he gets another chance.
