As hurt as I am over the loss of Vernon, and as much as the suspects need to pay ; we have our system in place for a reason. We can't just throw it out the window to try to teach any criminal, no matter how deserving, a lesson.

Patience is not my greatest virtue but I'm confident that in the end, the men who mudered Forrest will get exactly what they've got coming to them.

Vernon was a favorite of mine of the last generation. I'm still not over his death and I'd trade anything to have him back.

But we can't do that, so I can at least be happy about the fact that the police have one of these *******s on tape.
