I'm not for executing just anybody for just any crime. And I think the American system is far too harsh on drug offenders ; we got thousands upon thousands of people doing life in jail just for getting high ; I don't agree with that at all.

But once you get into ****, murder, and crimes against children ; I'm all for the death penalty and I'm even in favor of making the process even faster.

Assuming the crime is any of those 3 I mentioned and they either have the guy on tape, or linked through DNA evidence ; execute him as fast as possible.

The quicker we kill these *******s on death row ; the lesser the burden becomes on the taxpayer, the facility housing them, and the staff employed at said facility.

Therefore freeing up millions and millions of taxpayer dollars to put toward worthwhile investments such as trying to actually rehabilitate the non-violent, lesser offenders and getting them an education.
You should be running the country.

I'm sick of people defending criminals using the human rights bull****. Whatever happened to justice?

I'm not alone ; there's millions of other Americans who feel the exact same way as I do on the issue.

But it's highly likely that the system will never be reformed ; it's been in place for far too long and it's a powerful institution. The only way the reform could ever come would be if prisons started shutting down left and right. Therefore inscreasing the outcry for change.

As for human rights ; like we both said ; you forefit any rights you may have had when you take the life of another human being.

I don't give a **** about the circumstances, either. A crime a passion, a robbery gone wrong, drug deal gone bad, whatever.

Unless it can be proven to be accidental you deserve to die.

The ability to choose one's decisions is what seperates us from the animals.

            I know ; I do too.

Just last night I was thinking about how those poor special needs kids must've felt when they heard the news.....

            ...Jesus that's sad.

He should have fought Santos once they stripped him.

I was thinking the same thing man and it's really upsetting. Never has a 'celebrity' death affected me like this, if you know what I mean. It has to be the tragic way it happened.

Even watching those surveillance videos in the other thread makes me uneasy.

Now I can't stop thinking about those poor special needs kids again....

I hope that at least 1 person somewhere in Atlanta was moved by this tragedy enough to get involved and help those kids.

That would be the ultimate way to pay respect to Vernon and continue his legacy.

I just watched those videos myself.

Never before have I ever wanted to reach through my monitor and put the beat down on somebody so badly.

                    That prick's judgment day is coming...and I can't wait.

That would be beautiful. I hope someone from the boxing community would come forward. Even pledge a donation. It would really be something to be proud of the sport for.

                      Tell me about it man...
