Its not an opinion look at the photos of Paulie after each fight.

Did you forget how Paulie shoved McGirt for stopping the fight too quickly??

You're only defending Hatton to inflate Packy.

    Lame.

I respect the spirit of genuine discussion you are fostering, but I disagree. Cotto is worlds better than hatton.

Are you serious?...your logic is flawed...Thats like saying a win over William Joppy right now is the same or better then a win over Bhop...cause Bhop is older.

It's not about who is older...It's about who still has it...and clearly Shane Mosley WW champion still has it.

Anyway as does Cotto have the right to call Hatton over rated?

Yes if thats what he believes...

He has more of a right then I do to call Ricky Hatton is over rated...and I think Ricky Hatton is over rated.

and be you same standers who is Bogler to question the resume of Miguel Cotto... a nobody.

So lets keep things in perspective, shall we.
like the poster amirkhan, you obviously fail to comprehend. i am not bashing either's resume, but comparing. you cannot dissect one and not the other, which is just what you did. didn't i mention cotto's resume > hatton's?

Thats not my opinion pac-boy Paulie stated it after the fight...That he was way worse in the Cotto fight.

He had a broken orbital bone for Christ sake...If Mcgirt was in Paulie's corner for the Cotto fight it wouldn't have went the distance either.

What exactly did Hatton do better? Cotto dropped him, broke his cheekbones and made his face swell up like a balloon and did all this while being weight drained

You people need to spend less time on boxrec and more time actually watching these fights

What's even more telling is what Malignaggi himself said about Cotto as compared to hatton.

and you're going to say an aging casamayor was in his prime for beating a very much overrated katsidis just to inflate jmm. works both ways.

Hatton was both overhyped and overrated.

Even in defeat, Cotto won't look as bad as Ricky did against PBF or Pacquiao.

Then whats the point of this thread?

Cotto called into question the quality of Hatton's resume...

You asked the question does Cotto have the right to do that...

What i'm saying to you is...Cotto has more of a right to call Hatton "overrated" then any of us...and 90% of NSB believes Hatton to be just that.

                    And by your standerds.

If Cotto doesn't have the right to call Ricky overrated...you shouldn't be able to question Cotto's resume...because you have earned nothing.

Casamayor is world class even at 37.

Hatton was never even close to world class.

The fact that you even make a thread comparing Cotto to Hatton shows me you know nothing about boxing outside of Packy.
