Trust me.. I also believed that... And i'm a Pac fan.. But I think he can take more hit then what you believe.. We just havent seen it yet cause he doesnt get hit.
But to say that Manny cant hurt Cotto is plain ******.. Manny hits are very powerful for his size. I think its going suprise Cotto when Manny start landing bombs..
I also think Cotto should be favored in this fight.. But it should be close and I hope we see a war..Comment

thats the fight cotto versus mayweather. if bob starts that money **** then the fight won't happen. bob arum can forget it if he thinks that he can **** mayweather over like he did to cotto for the pac fight.nobody i repeat no one gets more money than floyd period.Comment

It's about the principle of things... I the **** should Cotto bow down to all of little pacs demand.... **** Pac... He's gonna get that ass whipped anyways... Little bastard gonna feel da painnnnnn.I agree with Cotto, that Pac should allow their discretions on what weight they are compatible on scaling from above the 140lbs to 147lbs to make Pac demand for the belt at stake becomes valid. Because WW champ means from above 140lbs to full 147lbs, not from above 140lbs to 145lbs alone!
But I saw at the same time a bad omen from Cotto of not disagreeing with that demand. If Cotto really confident of beating Pac at 145lbs, there is no harm in putiing his belt at stake! At the end of the day, it would be for him! But if he disagree, he knows that he is beatable by Pac, and the risks is big!
Cotto is one of my favorite fighter, however if he will be paired with Pac, I am rooting for Pac. I just could see that Pac is better than Cotto.

it's going to be the most unnecessary war of 09 but may very be the best one. Shane should have this fight man, he was willing to take ANY condition and give in to Pacquiao, meet at whatever weight and plain and simple just fight. Floyd should have fought Cotto and Marquez should have taken on Valero or a top someone in the 140 pound division..
that being said this goes back to that argument we had on here not too long ago about weight, I forget with who but read above though, if 141-147 was Welterweght then why would they note the non title bout at 145 as a catchweight? why not just say a non title Welterweight bout? becase that isn't Welterweight, when a fighter makes weight in the Welterweight division he weighs 147 pounds, some come under, some come over but the target weight on the scales is 147, anything less or more would be considered under/overweight.. bottomline they wouldn't say catchweight if it wasn't that, 145 in this fight is a special contractual agreement that allows them to face off at 145 in a Welterweight bout, without that the weight to make is 147, not 141, 142, 143.. etc but 147.. right or wrong?Comment

Cotto's got all the reason in the world to defend his title at the ww limit of 147lbs... but he shouldn't get too ****y, he didn't look that great the last time around.
I think he's got a legitamate shot at 147... but you can never count out Pac.Comment
