Bout time this dude started speaking for himself!

Interesting how he is doing it against a hype job limited fighter. Why no slick talk when it came to fraud/boatbuyer/etc..?

That was one of my biggest gripes with Cotto is that he never really
called out Floyd. Sure they talked smack to each other in interviews
but Cotto should have done the Hatton and just said "Floyd why are
you scared of me. Come get this ass whupping" after a fight and
Floyd would have had no choice to give Cotto a go ahead or look
like he was ducking. Cotto never put Floyd in that kind of situation.
In all honesty though, if Cotto doesn't get a better corner and improve
there is no way he is going to beat Floyd Mayweather Jr.

I'm finding myself still a fan of Cotto but going off him a tad. I don't know what it is anymore, it's like when he's trying to be ****y again it's not coming off right.

Why compare youself to two guys whom your opponent completely humiliated?

Why would you even mention them...saying I'm not them as if your not confident enough to say your gona do the same back and win? He didn't even say he'd win.

That's almost like sub conciously saying I'm not as bad as them, but I'll still lose.

Because WW champ means from above 140lbs to full 147lbs, not from above 140lbs to 145lbs alone!

But I saw at the same time a bad omen from Cotto of not disagreeing with that demand. If Cotto really confident of beating Pac at 145lbs, there is no harm in putiing his belt at stake! At the end of the day, it would be for him! But if he disagree, he knows that he is beatable by Pac, and the risks is big!

Cotto is one of my favorite fighter, however if he will be paired with Pac, I am rooting for Pac. I just could see that Pac is better than Cotto.
Cotto is wheeling and dealing just like pac and his team do. To try to get the most advantage. Both camps are playing the same game.. the fight will happen at 145.. don't know if the belt will be involved but cotto sticks to his words so it would surprise me if the belt would be a stake at 145.. I think he gives it back to the WBO.
