    Training

I wonder if things would have been different if he undertrained for the fight

This how he cooked as an excuse after almost 3 months of non-comment! He is a professional with 44 fights, he shouldn't use overtarained as an excuse. The problem of him was, he did not respect the power of Pacman, as P4P king because he went to his usual way of attacking his opponent with his tremendous punching power, but I could not blame him since this tactic made his most opponents deterred and eventually lost to him. He was no difference with Vic Darch who capitalized much of this tactics but the same ineffective when he faced a veteran, techinical and more faster fighter like Donaire. Hatton disregard this fact that he was facing a P4P king, fast and with power too, and equally veteran warrior! He can not deter a fighter with that qualities just by his straight attack with his swinging fists!

Hatton is still very effective though especially in JWW,and I think he could beat those champs in the alphabet belts. For a good restart, he should face the winner from Bradley-Nate or Holt. Afterall, 30 years old is still young age to hang his gloves!

Bradley has a much better chance of getting up from that one compared to your boy Ricky. Bradley already proved it by getting up from a nearly devasting KTFO against Holt. Ricky is shot. No amount of training would help him.

He is a product of the PBF hype machine who succumb to the hype. Ray, please tell Ricky to retire. He's done so much in his career and it's not fair for him to get hurt because of the Hatton team's delusions.

Nobody would have got up from that shot catching it the way Ricky did. Maybe they wouldn't be as badly hurt as Ricky was, but they wouldn't beat the count.

There were rumors of training camp trouble even prior to the fight, with co-trainers Floyd Mayweather Sr. and Lee Beard at odds with each other. Hatton felt that he overtrained and that makes him want to return to the ring to prove himself right. [details]

You don't know that about everybody else. But with Ricky, he's already proven that he can't get up from that one. With the rest, you're just guessing. I've seen other fighters who've been hit just as flushed and survived. You have to admit that some fighters have better chins than others, unfortunately, Ricky ain't one of them anymore.

Obviously I'm taking a hunch, but its a justifiable one. Super fast, powerful, caught flush on the chin and he didn't see it coming.

I'm not saying Ricky's chin is as good as it once was, its not, but saying its completely gone from being KO'd by THAT shot is not fair really.

IMO he was slightly weight drained, and that could have had an affect on his chin. Not on the outcome of the fight, just the reduced punch resistance. He should try 147 again if he fights again.

                    LOLLOLOLOLOLO!
So it was pbf who created that hype? Not guys like u who buy into the hype of fighters like hatton, pacq, calzaghe, etc...?
                    OK Sure kboy!

So if team pacq mans up and tackles pbf and gets turnbuckled too, then it was just hype created by pbf too? Right?

                    GTFOH!

No,you have it all wrong. Take off the hat of whoever the f.uck you support, and just look at it from a boxing fans perspective and recognise that as far as the idea of the perfect sparkout goes, all the necessary elements in the equation were there for that one.
