Nobody criticizes Floyd for his style. People blast floyd for his big mouth. Every fight he promises fireworks and knockouts and every fight it's the same defensive safety first style.

The Baldomir fight was the feather in his cap. He promised fireworks, came out dressed as a gladiator and gave us the safety first approach against a guy, titles or no titles, who should have never been in the same ring with him. I haven't paid to see Floyd fight since.

I think they blast his style because of his mouth.

His style is not fan friendly, but anyone who appreciates the sweet science can admire his style

Try paying over 300 bucks for stuff and the PPVs in 2 boring ass fights that he was in and let me see if you would be so sympathetic.

I loved watching him at 130. But in recent years he's followed in Hector Camacho's shoes after his fight with Rosario. From time to time he'll open up and give us a glimpse of excitement, but most of the time he's content to play it safe and collect his check. To bad, because despite his personality I would pay to see him if his fists delivered what his mouth always promises.
