Cotto is to mentally unstable in the ring.

cotto peaked during the mosley fight imo,

and as of late, well since the margo fight he has had problems.

im a huge cotto fan, and cotto fans dont hate on this becaz you know its true.

he's to mentally unstable, we all saw (plaster or not) cotto fold under the pressure of margo, and i dont blame him for it TBH, but it was the start.

then he fought clottey, clottey is a solid fighter, very underrated, but you could see in some of the rounds things that wernt "cotto-like"

cotto got hurt a ton at 140, but when he did he would always come back strong, and beat the guy.

but in some of the roundds in the clottey you can see when things arnt going cotto's way, or clottey is pressuring and cotto cant back him up, cotto tries to get out of they way, but his face you can see, its like he's worried, and he doesnt do alott of the same fighting he used to do.

i jus get a sense in that fight that cotto is damaged, not physically, i think he still hits hard, still pretty fast. but mentally.

anyway, what do you guys think.

He doesn't do well under pressure. Whether it's someone relentlessly stalking him or something throwing barrages at his face constantly. He just doesn't react well to it.

Any fighter who drops Clottey on their ass from a jab, still has good chance in boxing
Didn't Cotto put Gomez on his ass with a jab? EMBARRASSING!
Cotto is still dealing with the plaster demon. Cotto needs to go to a hypnotist to get rid of the Plasterito demon

Yup,Cotto is a pressure fighter, when the tables are turned,he doesnt fight as well, but he should be bigger than Pacman and if he's aggressive and can take Pacman's power, there will be a lot of broken hearts that night!!

Sometimes in the ring when he's having a tough time, his facial expression makes it seem like he's about to pull an Oliver Mccall

This is what he gets for fighting the best i guess. Negative backlash to struggle against the best boxers in the world.

people dont understand that cotto sometimes fought backing up and boxing from the outside even before the margs fight he has never liked pressure this did not just happen against margs. check out the fight against lovemore ndou or even the style he fought against gomez(boxing from outside) he is not only that fighter that everyone saw from judah on and if you get a chance to see his early carreer even against sub-par competition he has boxed and been uneasy with guys who pressure him.
