Chris Arreola hasn't been in shape a day in his life.
Will Chris Arreola be in shape for Vitali??

You're right, I think he'd be wise to come into the fight in tip top shape and give a valiant performance rather than coming in out-of-shape and getting blown out...
In other words, Arreola is in a win-win situation here. If he wins, obviously that's huge; if he loses in a valiant or gutsy effort- his status as a top contender is not changed. However, if he's 'blown out' then he's exposed as a bum...Comment

The last time Arreola said that he was "motivated" and looked like crap. He knows that this fight will be slow and it won't help his image, I wouldn't want to see him without said motivation. In short, No.In 2007 he weighed as low as 230.
In 2008 he weighed 239, 244, 258½, and 254.
His last fight against McCline he was at 255.
If he comes in around the 240-255 mark, I hope he gets KTFO.
He is extremely fortunate to have landed himself a shot with Vitali without accomplishing that much since turning pro, I would hope he's extremely motivated.
I like the guy and wish him well, I just want to see him in the best shape of his life rather than blowing his one (and probably only) shot at a title.Comment

Shape...
It depends on what you ask for.
Does his shape help him to win? Nope, he will only win if Vitali catches the Swine Flu or is enters the ring with two broken hands.
Does Arreola's shape help him to improve his reputation? Definitely. He has the chance to prolong the fight by several rounds if he is in top condition.Comment
