i like ufc but sadly.. i dont think it will matter.. ufc wont last its like the usfl vs the nfl .. if these guys were such good fghters thy would box so they colud get paid real money..it doesnt make sense

Boxing is without question one of the most corrupt sports in the world, but we manage to still talk about it everyday.

MMA is here to stay man, and this is coming from a bigger Boxing fan than MMA.

Anderson Silva fought his 1st Light Heavyweight fight on S.pike late last year as well as Tito Ortiz.

The demographic and audiences are vastly different.

I agree for the most part. MMA for the most part has a much younger audience than boxing's. Floyd is a loud mouth but the dude can fight and the hard core fans know it. The propaganda put out by the UFC will not sway the Core base of boxing.

I was making mention to the poster that the UFC was starting its PPVs around that time and people threw it down as a fad. Sixteen years later and 100 PPVs later IO think it's safe to say they've come a long way and they're not going anywhere.
