I'm going to go out on a limb and say Valero wins a close, but clear decision, in a competitive, entertaining fight with both fighters appearing hurt at times (no knock downs), ending Valero's KO streak but enhancing his career with the biggest name on his resume.

Soto UD. I don't think Valero can break thru his chin.

dope ass fight.....this will be Valeros first test to see what he's mad out of....Soto won't lay down like the rest of the bums he's been beating on....should be a total war

all i know is if valero KO's soto, I'm getting a hugo chavez tattoo on my chest lol. No really, soto has a margarito-like chin, if he knocks him down or out, I'll officially be on the valero bandwagon.

Soto UD, maybe Soto TKO later on

He might touch canvas early but I'm fairly confident he won't be stopped, even if he loses

I got Soto in this one. I think soto brings more to the table.

soto i think will be able to take a valeros punch and hit hard himself and win a excitin 12 round decision posibly late ko/tko valero hasnt fought someone who can handle his power and keep comin forward...maybe this is like cotto margarito?

Soto is going to beat Valero either by a quick knockout or else he'll give him a slow and painful beating. Soto's boxing fundamentals are a lot better and Valero hangs his chin in the air asking for someone to clip it. I'll bet Valero is kicking himself right now for not taking that decent payday to fight Prescott on Arum's Latin Fury PPV card that took place this past week. A fight with Soto is a lot more dangerous obviously, but if Valero would've beaten Prescott it would've put another good name on his resume and it would've kept him busy. He would still be able to fight Soto in November if he would've taken the fight with Prescott and won it.
