Personally I don't have any problems with Puertoricans, my daughter is from a PR girl but there is no doubt that ethnicaly and culturaly, Mexicans and Puertoricans are very different.

The cultural similarities are greater than any perceived differences.

Language being the biggest bond for me.

As a spanish speaking person, I tend to root for other spanish speaking fighters.

If that calls me credibility into question in your eyes, thats your problem, not mine.

I have no problem with your tendencies at all, but if you feel the NEED to root for another Latino fighter I can see how that could cloud your judgement. Im just saying if thats someones main criteria when picking fighters, there bias is in question, which can affect their credibility.

Rooting for your country is different than feeling the need to root for your race. He said himself hes not even PR. I dont feel the need to root for Mikkel Kessler just because hes white, I think thats an ignorant reason to be a fan.The UK posters who ONLY root for UK fighters arent worth a **** as boxing fans in my opinion either.
