This is a Pac fan thread but...Cotto has a pretty good resume

Quintana...who holds a win over Paul Williams
Clottey is a very good fighter
Mosley past his prime but still an elite fighter
Malignaggi and Judah are decent opposition
Cotto did pretty much clean up at 140..and almost did at 147

2 different fighters in different weightclasses...Morales has better flat out boxing ability than Cotto...

flat out better skills.

flat out better natural attributes.

flat out better resume.

flat out better legacy.



aside from those advantages for morales , cotto is close.

Prime for prime Erik just has better technique.

Even as faded as he was in the rematch, he was up on all cards against Packy before getting k.o'd.

I don't see Packy as an extremely talented guy, but more as force of nature.

He has skills, but what wins him fights is a good punch, amazing fighting spirit, and speed.

1st Barrera fight- He defeated a Barrera who had 60 fights and who knows how many ****en wars

1st Jmm fight- Jmm got knocked down 3 times in the first..and in pacland there isnt a piece of footage of the next 11 rounds in existance cause overall in the next 11rds Jmm proceded to give ***** manny an ass kicking that he
didnt want until 4 damn years later lmfao..

2nd Morales fight- Morales as we all know was not only CLEARLY at the end of his career but showed up at the weigh in "dressed" as a dehydrated, mummified skeleton with barely any skin on..and yet manny was losing in all 3 judges scorecards half into the fight..all Erik really needed was a good gas tank [which was impossible for the poor guy] and yet ***** manny STILL got his choice of gloves..and YET STILL couldnt even knock him out..Erik's legs was considered mr.noodles that was the end of that Erik was running on fumes the entire fight..and by the way...Erik ALREADY kicked pacquiao's ass in the 1st fight..

3rd Morales fight- Manny showed how brave he is by fighting Erik yes folks A THIRD TIME..an Erik that was surrounded by Nutritionists and Specialists just so he can make weight for the ****s sake..and ***** Manny AGAIN showed how brave he was by making Erik pay hundreds of thousands of dollars if he was a pound above weight limit..[i know...sad]

2nd Barrera fight- Manny AGAIN shows he brave he was fightin barrera again..doesnt even try and gets a couple million for carrying barrera for 12 rds..

2nd Jmm fight- After running from 4 years Manny had pretty much NO CHOICE but to fight Marquez again..and again..Jmm procedes to give Manny a 12 round ass kicking..but ofcourse the judges save ***** manny and he gets a bull**** draw..siiiiiiigh

David Diaz- Manny decided to go "up in weight"..When i mean up in weight..i mean manny blowing up between 10 to 15lbs to fight smaller past prime feather weights..[ the guy weighs as much as pbf does for welter weight fight lmfao..] to the point where he had no choice but go "up in weight"..diaz ofcourse just before just got A GIFT DECISION against a shot Morales lol...

cotto looks good against crap competition and squeaks out wins over good ones.



clottey and marg are good fighters but not greats.

one ktfo cotto and the other had a close fight with him.



since clottey and marg is good fighters and nothing more , one must realize that cotto is as well a good fighter and nothing more.
