I can understand the Pavlik camp, Williams is in no way a gate draw. The fans at his most recent fights were there to see Arreolla.

I think this has more to do with the promoters than the fighters
because the more Pavlik/Williams get the more Arum/Haymon/Goosen
get. These promoters and advisors are making Boxing too political.
These guys are getting MILLIONS to make a fight happen for one night
and can't agree or come to a closure on this deal? I feel since Williams
is the other participant in this match that he should get a piece of
everything. If Top Rank don't want Williams to get a piece of the
gate and the sponsorship then they should give Williams $2MIL.

Maybe they don't have to split it down the middle but Williams should get a piece of the Gate and Sponsorship because both fighters are making the fight. HBO is paying for Pavlik/Williams not just Pavlik. HBO is putting up that $ because of both fighters so they should both share in all revenues whether or not it's down the middle.

hbo is a channel on tv they aint responsible for the tickets being sold, they just broadcast the fight on tv. the fighters and promoters have to sell the tickets and pavlik will sell them, paul wont cuz he never headlined a card.

I think Williams will get knocked out cold by Pavlik. I don't even like Pavlik and I'm a fan of Williams, but Paul simply can't hurt Kelly. The natural 147 lber will crumble to that thunderous 1-2.

Williams would help Pavlik do more but Pavlik can stand on his own, Williams cannot and except a really respectable gate. I was at the Locket fight and it was a legit crowd. The Rubio fight was also really respectable.. to be fair it was in his hometown but Williams can't just hold a fight in his hometown and do the same as Pavlik did. Pavlik is a loser. Paul is taking big gamle fighting a huge 160lber when Williams in my eyes is a big WW. Pay the man you bald ****.

Why would Arum pay Williams more. He already upped his purse form 1.25 million to 1.55. Pavlik is only getting a lil more in 1.75. And as Arum already said, Pavlik could sell out the arena fighting anybody because Williams can't draw flies to **** in the ticket selling department.

Camp Williams is out-pricing themselves.....PERIOD.
