Wow Andre Ward is only 19-0...

I'm not saying it's not a great record, because it is. But I'm surprised in regards to him competing in this "Super 6" Tournament thing.

He gives up a lot of experience to Mikkel Kessler who has 43 fights. But he is an Olympic gold medalist and the dude knows how to fight.

Ward has the toughest match up right now out of the Americans in my opinion.

Then again, Andre Direll only has like 19 fights too I think. Ward-Direll would be a great fight if they end up meeting.

I'm rooting for Ward to win this thing.

Ward hasnt lost since 1998 I think, and that was in tha ams

Judging from his last 3 fights his record is deceiving, the combinations he lands sometimes are rare to see in boxing these days. Im rooting for Ward to win the tournament

Dirrell has only 18 and is even less proven.

At least Ward fought a decentish fringe contender in Miranda.Keep in mind MWs Pavlik and Abraham(altough at SMW) stopped him.

Hanshaw was a fringe contender. Miranda will always be dangerous

Hell, Kessler wasnt all that eager to find him a couple of months ago

Yeah I giess so but the Hanshaw win isn't impressive.None of Dirrell's wins really are.He should have been ruled down in the first round and the KD he scored was bogus.

Miranda indeed will always be dangerous but the Kessler thing is way overrated,I once read the story about it on another site. Both parties disrupted negotiations.Just because Miranda called him names doesn't mean he backed off.

I'm rootin for Ward also, despite not really even bein a fan of his. He's a skilled guy who's been hindered by inactivity. He coulda gone further by now if he'd taken more fights, even if they weren't against top guys. His development woulda been stronger if he fought more. I don't see him winnin the tourney, and really don't see him beatin Kessler. But I'm supportin him. I wanna see the kid blow up and get some shine.

I'ver always been a fan of the guy. I'm not a die hard or nothing but I've always liked his style and the way he carries himself (he's a good role model he's not a punk or anything like that). I've been following his career since he fought that Molina dude on HBO in like his first or second fight. Plus he's an American gold medalist why not root for him?

He's in tough though against Kessler....

Ward has the easiest route to the semis. He avoids Abraham and Froch, and all of his fights will be in the U.S. including the fight vs. Kessler.
