I'm watching the fight again and i see Pacman throwing alot of punches as he usually does and he gets hit with alot of punches from morales but no power behind the punches and pacman still gets rattled. Would've helped morales more if he had better power behind those punches. He has pacman by ropes but is not going to the body, just to the head. hmmmmmmm...curious.

I'm not sure about that, but what I think EM showed was that Packy doesn't fight as well when you take the fight to him.

JMM was counterpunching him well in the first fight but he didn't take the fight to him as much as EM did.

it's not counterpunching that beats pacquiao.

You got the Hamed body slams, punching JMM deliberately while down, headbutting Packy in the first and even more clearly in the second fight, again, totally on purpose...Sucker punching EM at a press conference...

Morales was a great fighter. What do you expect?

Skill wise, Morales was better than Pacquiao. His chin is also better than Pacqiuao.

And don't give me any "Pacquiao wasn't prime" garbage. At that time he had already beaten Barrera and drawed with Marquez.

On his best day, Morales beats almost anyone at those weights.

it was the most tactical, calculating and patient as i've ever seen Morales....he picked his spots, got PAC's respect early and carried the gameplan to a T..


he brilliant that night...surprised me at how much poise he showed...a packed house of mexicans and pinoys, battle chants from both sides...but he stuck to his plan....it was vintage El Terrible...not many would have beaten him that night
