Box and counter punch. Back then Pac was little more than a wild slugger, easily taken advantage of. Pac obviously improved, as evidence by fighting the best boxing and counter punching fighter in sport to a draw and win.

should i bring up the fact that it was his first fight at 130?

and the fact that he initially came in January thinking he was gonna rematch Marquez at 126 in February?

or the fact that he found out how much Murad was taking from him on fight week?

nah...we'll let the other group use the excuses....

El Terrible took the JMM blueprint and executed it better than the originator

I'm not sure about that, but what I think EM showed was that Packy doesn't fight as well when you take the fight to him.

JMM was counterpunching him well in the first fight but he didn't take the fight to him as much as EM did.

we might know that but cotto stans don't.

a cotto stan told me the other day that cotto is better than barrera , marquez and morales.

i don't even think cotto is better than larios.

pacquiao's jab left straight combo was becoming an obvious encounter after barrera and marquez so morales was able to look into this and take advantage...since that loss pac has learned from it and has been improving immensely

Morales was a great fighter. What do you expect?

Skill wise, Morales was better than Pacquiao. His chin is also better than Pacqiuao.

And don't give me any "Pacquiao wasn't prime" garbage. At that time he had already beaten Barrera and drawed with Marquez.

On his best day, Morales beats almost anyone at those weights.
