flame me but this was ******ity. A guy pulls a gun out on you and you go chase him with your own gun. Someone was going to die! Forrest took a big risk and was careless in his actions. IF he thought with his head on straight he'd realize he has enough money to not even worry about a ***en wallet and let them run off. He couldn't control that he was a target of a robbery but it was clear that the people stealing his wallet did not want to kill him or the killer would have shot him point blank there and take his wallet. Chasing him brought on a whole new event.

I agree. Not to mention he had his ****ing godson inside the gas station. Why would you bring a gun fight anywhere near your 11 year old godson. Poor judgement, ultimately cost him his life. **** happens. RIP champ.

the way they reported this **** first, they made it seem as if VF got killed during the pursuit itself....then you can say bad judgement. but i don't know too many ppl who have a gun, and who will just let someone snatch their wallet, and take off running, not to mention VF is a professional fighter, so his instincts play a part too.

bottom line, VF gave up, and was headed back to his car, this **** was over. dude is a ***** for shooting him in the back......

ok, people I don't know if this simple theory has been posted as I skipped some of the dumb ones.
1-The robber/killer knew who his intended victime was. Obviously Forrest was a regular in the area. Soeone made a good point stating that murder was not the intent.
2-Forrest acted irresponsibly as a godfather and an adult; He gave chase to a theif leaving his 11 year old godson unsupervised(and at risk).
3-He gave chase meaning he was intending to kill the perp also. Lord knows he probably wounded the mugger, the other accomplice came back and shot him up. Let's not forget. when you give chase your victim is running with his back towards you so maybe the mugger/driver took that **** personal, "oh he thinks he's gangsta? We'll show him" one of those dumb ass ways of reasoning.
4-Nothing and I mean Nothing is worth your life(unless it's a loved ones life), whatever materials were in that wallet could've been replaced.
5- While you shoot at someone(not that I have experienced this theory) but aren't you like yelling **** at your target like Fu you F'ing Ni99a (not racial but in slang) You want to rob me? C'mon *****, Imma champ! I am not throwing the stereotype but think about it, anybody with a short fuse can do **** like that.

All in all, he did lose his life over a wallet. Let's see the bright side of things-His godson wasn't hurt. Hmmm maybe the godson set this up?
