      Ah Pittsburgh.
All time you've got some heavy hitters with Greb, Burley and Zivic though.

Im from Daly City,Ca. It's a couple miles south of San Francisco. Here's a list of some boxers the Bay Area has produced.

Pat Valentino (San Francisco - fought Ezzard Charles for the Heavyweight title in 1949. He lost by 8th round KO. Also drew twice with former light heavyweight Champ Joey Maxim.)

"Irish" Pat Lawlor (San Francisco - Fought and beat Roberto Duran and Wilfredo Benitez, both of whome were well passed their prime. Notable losses have come to John David Jackson, Terry Norris, Hector Camacho, Joe Calzagh, Vinny Paz and Librado Andrade.

James J. Corbett (San Francisco - Knocked out John L. Sullivan in the 21st round to claim the Heavywieght title in 1892. Was later knocked out by Bob Fitzsimmons for the crown in 1897. He later challened the man Jack Johnson conquered, James Jeffries, in 1900, but lost in the 23rd round. He landed a return bout with Jeffries three years later, but lost in 10 by tko.)

          *More to come
