Well that goes back to what I said about the 2 ways to beat Floyd. You have to be bigger or a Southpaw and just catch him. I do think the Zab stuf was overrated. He got off early because he was a fast, slick, Southpaw but after 4 rounds Floyd figured him out and he never came close to winning another round. Im a big Floyd fan but I think the Oscar fight was Floyd being a little bit of a punk or maybe genuinely worried. He just wouldnt let his hands go but everytime he did, Oscar had nothing for him. I do think he may have been genuinley worried about the weight, how Oscar would be nearly 20 pounds bigger, and how his dad told him non stop to not get hit with that hook because you may be knocked out. I think he was really worried about how he would perform at 154 and if he could really take a punch from a guy who just decapitated Mayorga. Thats why I think he was extremely cautious and I think he wouldve been alot more agrressive if the rematch had come off

My personal opinion after watching Floyd vs Oscar was that Floyd wanted to carry Oscar through the fight.

He wanted Oscar to put up a fight and make it competitive, but when Oscar felt Floyd's punches Oscar started holding back more out of frustration and gassing out.

I honestly think Floyd wanted to make it a trilogy with Oscar, but Oscar didn't play along well to make the fight exciting enough to command an encore performance.

I'm sure if their fight were much more competitive and exciting, the fans would've been demanding a re-match of sorts.

Thanks. I always felt that way while watching that fight.

A trilogy would have been beaucoup bucks for both of them.

It just didn't pan out that way.

JMM fights smart, pulls off the upset on points.

I think Mayweather wins a decision or stops Marquez late on.

as skilled as he is, i think JMM has overstepped his boundaries, weight limit wise, and is in over his head...i see a floyd win with a possible stoppage in the later rounds

This was my prediction before the fight

'Its a hard fight to visualise for me. I can imagine Floyd being able to drop Marquez early like Pacquiao was able to do, and like Juan Diaz almost did. Not from some overwhelming onslaught, just like a short left hook on the inside, something like that.

Can imagine Marquez hitting the canvas maybe once. But I think Marquez will make it to the bell while making some competitive but dull rounds.'

                    Close :P lol

And I'm going out on a limb and saying that the punch that gets JMM going is a left hook off a feint.
I was semi-right on this one, a left hook off a feint was what sent JMM down.
